    The executive summary should function as a standalone, persuasive document that summarizes the entire content.

  3. VIDEO PITCH

    Format:

    Length:
    3 - 5 minutes
    Purpose:
    The video pitch is an opportunity to clearly communicate your startup’s value proposition and why it is worth investing in. It allows teams to present their idea in a more engaging and memorable way than written materials alone.

    Expected Content:

    • The video pitch should explain the startup idea and its value proposition.
    • Teams may reference or present parts of their pitch deck, but they are not required to present every slide.
    • Teams should focus on the key elements that best communicate their idea within the 3–5 minute timeframe.

    Team Representation:

    • Not all team members are required to appear in the video.
    • One representative (such as the team leader) may present on behalf of the team.
    • The presenter should briefly introduce the team and explain each member’s role in the startup.

    Acceptable formats include:

    • Presenting a pitch deck or slides while explaining the idea.
    • Screen-sharing slides while presenting (using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or similar tools).
    • Recording in front of a physical screen or display with slides.
    • Creating a creative video pitch (e.g., storytelling, product demonstration, or concept explanation).

    Technical and Quality requirements:

    • Clear audio and visible slides.
    • Professional but simple production is acceptable.
    • Language: English (professional and consistent throughout the video).

    Video submission instructions:

    1. Upload: Click the "Create" icon in YouTube and select "Upload video".

    2. Set Visibility: On the "Visibility" step, choose Unlisted.Note: Videos must be set to Unlisted (not Public or Private).

    3. Share: Once processed, copy the video link and submit on the form.

  4. SUPPORTING DATA

    Length:
    Maximum of 5 pages
    Purpose:
    Allows teams to provide additional proof of concept, technical validation, or detailed data that supports the claims made in the summary and deck.

    Depending on the maturity of the idea, submissions may include:

    Conceptual or system level descriptions

    • High-level system architecture, workflows, or process diagrams
    • Explanation of underlying scientific or engineering principles

    Analytical or calculated results

    • Engineering calculations, scaling estimates, or first principles analysis
    • Order-of-magnitude estimates supporting feasibility

    Simulated or computational results

    • Simulation outputs, modeling results, or virtual experiments
    • Figures, plots, or screenshots illustrating performance or behavior
    • Brief explanation of assumptions and methodology (raw code not required)

    If included:

    • Only summarized outputs, figures, screenshots, or explanations are required.
    • Full simulation files, executable models, or software access are not required.

    Prototype or proof of concept (if available)

    • Description of the prototype and its maturity level
    • Images, diagrams, or summarized test results

    Literature-based justification

    • References to academic literature, prior art, or industry benchmarks
    • Explanation of how existing work supports the proposed approach

    Evaluation Note

    Supporting data is used to enhance technical evaluation, but the absence of supporting data will not negatively affect eligibility. Emphasis is placed on clarity, relevance, and technical reasoning rather than volume or complexity.

  5. TRAVEL & VISA INFO

    Purpose:
    Collects travel, passport, and existing visa details to determine Saudi visa entry pathways and apply for visas on behalf of confirmed finalists.

    All data submitted through this form will be handled by the Logistics & Planning team and used only for visa processing purposes.

    Requirements by Category:

    Sponsorship & Roster Limits

    • Sponsorship covers travel for a maximum of 2 members per startup.
    • Additional team members can physically attend at their own expense (Self-funded).
    • Every attending member (whether sponsored or self-funded) must fill out the form individually.

    GCC Citizens Requirements

    • Upload National ID (front & back sides) - No passport required.
    • Applicable to nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

    Non-GCC Citizens Requirements

    • Upload Passport Bio-data Page (main photo & details page).
    • Passport must have a minimum of 2 blank pages.
    • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the final event dates.

    Existing Visas & GCC Residency

    • Holders of valid Saudi eVisa, US, UK, or Schengen visas can unlock faster eVisa entry.
    • GCC residents (Iqama holders) must upload front & back copies of their residency permit in addition to their passport bio-data page.

    Flight Details (Optional)

    • Departure City / Country and Intended Airline (optional at time of application).
    • Helper: Certain Saudi visa pathways require flying on Saudi-affiliated airlines (Saudia, Flynas, or Flyadeal).

    Physical photo requirements: White background, face centered, taken within the last 6 months, JPG or PNG formats only up to 5MB.
